In most cases this does not identify you personally.

2. How we collect personal information

  • Directly from you, when you complete a form on the Website or contact us by email or phone.

  • Where reasonable and practicable we collect personal information from you only. If we receive it from a third party, for example someone who refers you to us, we will take reasonable steps to make you aware of that.

3. Why we collect, use and share it

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and arrange a conversation with one of our partners;
  • provide our services and manage our relationship with you;
  • run, secure and improve the Website; and
  • meet our legal obligations.

We share personal information with service providers who help us operate the Website and our business, only as far as they need it to do that work. These include providers of website hosting, email delivery and business email (such as Hostinger, Brevo and Microsoft), website analytics and fonts (Google), and spam protection for our forms (Cloudflare). Our own team members, including those in our Manila office, and support personnel working for these providers may also see it in the normal course of their duties. We also disclose personal information where the law requires or allows it.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Cookies and analytics

The Website uses Google Analytics to show us how the Website is used, such as which pages are visited. It uses cookies and collects usage information as described in section 1. Google may process this information in the United States and other countries. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the Website work.

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs checks in your browser to tell people from automated programs. The Website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when a page loads.

5. Direct marketing

We do not currently send newsletters or marketing emails to a mailing list. We may contact you about your enquiry and about our services where you would reasonably expect it. If we send marketing messages in future, we will do so only where you have asked for them or would reasonably expect them, we will not use sensitive information for marketing, and every message will include a simple way to unsubscribe. You can ask us at any time to stop contacting you for marketing purposes by emailing info@pacificbridgex.com.

6. Security, storage and retention

We store personal information electronically with reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. When we no longer need personal information for the purpose we collected it, we will take reasonable steps to destroy it or de-identify it. Enquiry information is kept only as long as we need it to respond and manage our relationship with you. Most information in our client files and records is kept for a maximum of 7 years to meet our record-keeping obligations.

7. Overseas disclosure

Our team includes people in the Philippines, so personal information you give us may be accessed there. Our service providers also store and process information in other countries, including the United States, and in other countries where Hostinger, Brevo, Microsoft and Google operate. We cannot list every country. Before disclosing personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure the recipient handles it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

8. Access and correction

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you (APP 12) and ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading (APP 13), subject to certain exceptions. 10. Europe (GDPR)

In some circumstances the EU General Data Protection Regulation gives additional protection to individuals in Europe. Being located in Europe does not on its own entitle you to that protection. The Website does not specifically target individuals in the European Union and we do not monitor their behaviour, so we do not consider the GDPR applies.
